Appointments can be created by #
This setting controls the permission to create appointments in the global network calendars to which all users have read access. Here you can choose whether only network admins or both network admins and members can post appointments in this calendar. Selecting the latter setting allows any network user to create appointments at the network level.
Standard calendar view #
The tixxt calendar has two calendar view modes for users to choose from. Network admins can specify a standard view which is displayed to users when the appointments module is called up.

The attendee export includes email addresses #
The attendees for each appointment can be exported by network and group admins as well as the appointment creator (see Export attendees). The network admin can also specify whether this export should contain the email addresses with which the attendees are registered in tixxt (Yes). If ‘No’ is selected, the export only contains the email addresses if they have been downloaded by a network admin.
Choose appointment categories #
Appointments can be categorised when they are created or edited. You can either use the tixxt standard categories or define your own categories. The standard categories are Appointment, Party, Conference, Exposition, Online, Seminar, Conference call and Workshop. Select ‘Use custom appointment categories’ to add new categories or delete existing ones. By clicking on ‘Save’, the configured list is available to all appointment creators.
Reset participants when the event is postponed/moved #
If the time or date of an existing appointment is later changed, this is considered as an appointment being postponed/moved. Users who are invited to this appointment are informed of the change by email.
By default (Selection: Yes), any accepted or declined responses for the appointment are also reset if the appointment is postponed/moved. Due to the new time frame, users who had already accepted the appointment may not be able to attend after all, or users who previously had a conflict may now have time for the appointment. A new invitation is issued to all previously invited users to which they can respond again.
Alternatively (Selection: No) the previously accepted or declined responses for the appointment are retained, even if the appointment is postponed. The users receive an email notification of the change. The email also contains information about the user’s current participation status (attending, decline or no response). By clicking on the appointment in the email, the user can adjust their status if necessary.
