Existing files can be marked as final by #
This setting controls the permission to mark files as ‘Final’ in the global network folders to which all users have read access (see Root folder). Once files have been marked as ‘Final’, they can no longer be edited or versioned (see also Marking files as ‘Final’). Here you can choose whether only network admins or network admins and members can mark files as final in this folder. Selecting the latter setting allows any network user to mark files as final at the network level.
File filter #
This function can be used to restrict the file upload options available to users. If the function is activated, network administrators can specify the relevant file types in the “File extensions” field (see also note). The option “Allow only specific file types (allow list)” restricts file uploads to the specified file extensions. The option “Block specific file types (deny list)” blocks uploads of files with the specified extensions, but allows all other file types. Uploading images remains unaffected and remains possible in the specified areas.
*Note in the product:
Note: Enter the desired file extensions separated by commas. For example: pdf, docx, xlsx, jpg
