tixxt statistics offer network admins an overview of key figures for their tixxt network.
Common use cases
Analysing statistics: A close look at causalities
Take a close look at when specific types of activities happen on the platform. A common example of correlated activities are the following: Suppose you publish a post on Monday, this has an impact on the “Posts” statistic (“plus 1”). On Tuesday, your post is being read by users, receiving “likes” or being commented on. This is also reflected in the statistics: 12 new “likes”, 3 new comments; the number of active users increases. On Wednesday, the number of passive users increases, triggered by the previous day’s activities. Also, pay attention to the dispatch time of your email digest, which also has an influence on the statistics.
Other approaches for analysis
- Measuring reach: Evaluate the increase in consumer users using the consumer export
- Increase of the total number of users
- Measuring passivity: Evaluate the number of passive users per month/quarter/year
- Measuring activity: Evaluate the number of active users per month/quarter/year
- Measuring interactions
- Identifying a need to act: Keep an eye on the number of daily interacting and active users
Keep in mind that some outliers – both positive and negative – often have plausible explanations, such as weekends, holidays or public holidays.
Date range #
Using the dropdown at the top of the statistics section, you can set a date range for which all the key figures below are to be calculated. You can either select a standard date range or select ‘Custom’ and choose your own date range using the date picker.
Data source (web, app, total) #
The dropdown next to the date range can be used to define the data source from which the statistics are displayed. This allows a clear distinction to be made between ‘Web’ and ‘App’. Selecting ‘Total’ displays the data from the web and app combined.
Export #
At the top right is the option to export the statistics for the selected date range in order to continue working with the data elsewhere. You can choose between exporting the data as an Excel file or as a CSV file.
Users #
The first tab under tixxt statistics contains the user statistics. The ‘User activity’ graph displays the active and interacting users per day for the selected date range. Hover over any data point to view the numerical values of the respective day.
By clicking on the value ‘Total users’ (not displayed in the default view), you can compare the active and interacting users to all registered users of the network. A further graph appears showing the total users.
Additional information is displayed below the graph which shows how many new users have registered in the network in the selected date range and how many users were deleted during this time. There is also information about the number of interacting, active and passive users. These figures indicate how many people have visited the network in the selected date range. Several visits by the same user are only counted once.
Active users #
Users who have been online within the selected date range. This includes interacting users.
Interacting users #
Users that have logged in to your network and completed at least one of these activities in the chosen date range:
- Created a post or comment
- ‘Liked’ a post or comment
- Created or added an answer
- Voted in a poll
- Uploaded a file or a new version of a file
- Created an appointment or accepted or declined an appointment invitation
Interacting users are included in the active users.
Passive users #
Users that receive digest emails excluding the active and interacting users.
Unique users #
This figure indicates how many different users have visited the network in the selected date range. Several visits by the same user are only counted once.
Activities #
The second tab under tixxt statistics contains the activities. The first item shows the total number of activities that took place in the selected date range. The following are counted as activities:
- Created posts
- Created comments
- Likes
- Created answers
- Created poll answering options
- Voted in a poll
- Uploaded files
- Created file versions
- Created appointments
- Created a chat message
In the ‘Activities – Total’ graph, all activities that took place in the selected date range are broken down into the respective activity type.
The table below shows the numerical values for each activity type.
The ‘Activity over time’ graph below shows how many activities took place per day and per activity type. Hover over any data point to view the numerical values of the respective day. You can hide an activity type in the graph for a better overview by clicking on it in the legend.
Groups #
The third tab under tixxt statistics contains the group statistics. The ‘Group overview’ graph shows the total number of all groups per day. Hover over any data point and the numerical value of the respective day is displayed.
The table below displays a value for new group memberships that were added in the selected date range as well as group departures that took place in the selected date range.
Posts #
The fourth tab of tixxt statistics contains the post statistics.
The first item shows the total number of post activities that took place in the selected date range. These include:
- Created posts

The table below shows the numerical values for each activity type.
The ‘Post activities – over time’ graph below shows how many activities took place per day and per activity type. Hover over any data point to view the numerical values of the respective day. You can hide an activity type in the graph for a better overview by clicking on it in the legend.
Appointments #
The fifth tab under tixxt statistics contains the appointment statistics.
The table at the top shows the total number of all appointments that have already taken place in the selected date range. The date the appointment has been created on can vary from the chosen date range. Additional information is also provided on how many invitations were issued for the appointments created. This is then broken down by the number of accepted, declined and unanswered invitations, with the value given both numerically and as a percentage.
The second table below provides further key figures:
Created appointments
Sum of all appointments that have been created in the chosen date range. The actual date the appointment takes place is not taken into account, appointments can take place outside of the chosen date range.
Deleted appointments
Sum of all appointments that have been deleted within the selected date range.
Cancelled appointments
Sum of all appointments that have been cancelled within the selected date range.
Files #
The sixth tab under tixxt statistics contains the file statistics.
The ‘File overview’ graph shows the total number of files in the network over time.
Further key figures can be found below:
File downloads
The total number of all file downloads that took place during the selected date range.
New files
The total number of all new uploaded files in the selected date range.
