The audit log can be used to trace which user has carried out which safety-relevant action in the network. The audit log is divided into four columns. Each column contains one item:
1. ‘Time’ column: This column shows the time at which the action was carried out. The date and time are displayed here.
2. ‘Action’ column: This column shows the action that was carried out. The following actions are currently being logged:
- Joined group: This action shows that a user has joined a group. This can be done independently by the user, by accepting an invitation or via the group directory. Alternatively, the user can also be added to the group by a network administrator using the ‘Edit group memberships’ function.
- Left group: This action shows that a user has left a group. The user can either leave independently or be removed by a network administrator using the ‘Edit group memberships’ function. A group administrator can also terminate membership of the group.
- Admin role granted: This action shows that a user in a group has been assigned the ‘Group administrator’ status. This can be done via group administration or network administration.
- Admin role revoked: This action shows that the ‘Group administrator’ status has been withdrawn from a user. This can be done via group administration or network administration.
- Section admin privileges given/removed: This action shows that a user has been granted section admin permissions or has had them revoked.
- User deleted: This action shows that a user has been permanently deleted from the network.
- Updated permission settings: This action shows that new permissions have been set for channels.
- Files: This action shows newly uploaded or deleted files
3. ‘Details’ column: This column shows details about the respective action. The following details are visible here:
- Affected group
- Affected user
4. ‘Actor’ column: This column shows which user carried out the action. If the affected user carried out the action independently, the column remains empty.
Entries can be filtered and searched according to various criteria:
- Date range (range can be selected as you like)
- Details (free text search, e.g. by file name)
