Change requests #
If this function is active on the network, active change requests can be found in the network administration under ‘Profile data change requests’. These appear as active as soon as a user makes changes to their own user profile under ‘Edit profile’. As long as a profile data change request is still pending, the respective user will see a notification under ‘My Profile’ and ‘Edit Profile’. The user profile cannot be definitively updated until the change request has been processed.
Active profile data change requests are displayed per user. The ‘Updated on’ column indicates when the respective user last made a change. Pending changes can be viewed by clicking on the ‘eye’ symbol next to the respective user. Multiple consecutive profile changes are collected and displayed here until the change request has been approved or declined. The field name of the edited profile field, the current content of the field and the proposed changes are displayed.
The change requests are accepted or declined using the ‘Approve’ or ‘Decline’ buttons. Clicking on ‘Decline’ generates an input screen in which the reason for rejection can be stated in writing. In all cases, the user is informed of the decision by email.
