Requirements: The chat is an additional function that must be activated for the network. If the chat is not currently activated for your network but you are interested in this function, please contact our customer support team.
The chat offers the option of real-time communication with individual users or groups.
The chat is located at the top right of the network next to the notification area (notification bell) and the user’s profile. Click on the ‘speech bubble’ icon to open it. You can close the chat again by clicking on the ‘x’.
From the open chat window, users can see all existing chats, both individual and group chats. There are various icons displayed in the chat:
- Green dot next to a user profile picture: The user is currently active in the network.
- Yellow dot: The user has set their status to ‘Busy’.
- Speech bubble next to the user profile picture: A user is currently composing a message in the chat.
- Counter above the user profile picture: There are one or more unread chat messages.
- Red speaker icon next to the user profile picture: The chat is muted.
