The following modules can be searched:
- Posts
- Messages

After entering the search term, you can decide whether to search in the current module (e.g. posts) or globally on the entire network.

After entering the search term, you can decide whether to search in the group and in the module, search the entire group (search all modules), or conduct a global search in the entire network.
Common use cases
Search operators
Asterisk: *
- An asterisk can be used as a placeholder
- Example: Group* leads to the search results group calendar, group logo, …
- An asterisk does not have to appear after a complete word. Gro* would also work and would lead to search results that start with the letters “gro”.
- In order to work as a placeholder, an asterisk can only appear at the end of search terms/words.
Plus sign: +
- The plus can be used to mean “also”.
- Example: Group admin + Group calendar.
- Search results will for example find posts that contain both terms.
- You will not receive search results for posts that only contain one of the terms.
- Can also be combined using the asterisk, e.g.: group*+group calendar
- There must be no spaces between the terms and the plus sign
Quotation marks: “”
- Search terms in quotation marks are linked and only look for exact matches.
- Example: Search for “Jon Doe” will only yield results that contain that exact spelling in this particular order.
- This is ideal for searching for names, for example.
Operators that do not work:
- AND/UND (and)
- OR/ODER (or)
- – (minus)
